Spay & neuter assistance

pilot voucher program

January–December 2027

Launching in 2027, Loving Link Foundation’s pilot voucher program will help make spay and neuter care more accessible for low-income pet owners. Eligible applicants may receive financial assistance toward spay or neuter services at a participating veterinary clinic, with vouchers prioritized where they can have the greatest impact on community need.

Through this pilot, we hope to help more families access essential care for their pets while reducing the number of unplanned litters entering already overburdened shelters and communities.

Who is eligible?

Our vouchers are intended for low-income pet owners. You may qualify if you currently receive:

  • CalWORKs

  • Medi-Cal/Medicaid

  • SNAP/CalFresh

  • PG&E Energy Savings Assistance

  • LIHEAP

Proof of eligibility is required. Meeting eligibility requirements does not guarantee a voucher; funding is limited and applications are prioritized based on program criteria.
