He holds a masters degree in accountancy, and bachelors degrees in managerial economics and music, all from UC Davis. Prior to becoming an accountant, he worked at UC Davis as a coordinator in the admissions department of the Graduate School of Management. He has also performed as a violinist and violist throughout the greater Sacramento area as a managing member of the Mersonacta String Quartet. On his spare time he enjoys listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and going on hikes throughout Northern California.

We got our first family dog when I was eleven, a Weimaraner my mom named Blue. She was very energetic and loving—a perfect match for me, my brothers, and my baby sister as we grew up. She loved to go on long walks, chase squirrels and birds in the backyard, and snuggle under a mountain of blankets in the winter months. When Blue was older, we got a second dog, another Weimaraner my mom named Redd. Redd loved going on hikes and every kind of food (including unauthorized pizza slices from her unsuspecting humans.) Family movie nights weren’t complete without Redd and Blue snuggling on either side of the couch. Although both Redd and Blue have passed on, I will always remember their unconditional love and the positive impacts they had on me.
